 The GYXTC8A and GYXTC8S are self supporting figure 8 outdoor fiber optic cables designed for aerial ployments.These cables integrate optical fibers within a central loose tube filled with waterproof compound, combined with 

steel support wires in an 8 shaped PE sheath. GYXTC8A features an aluminum plastic laminated tape (APL) for moistu

re barrier, while GYXTC8S uses double sided plastic coated steel tape (PSP) for crush resistance. Both support 2 to 288

 fiber cores and are ideal for long span installations in telecom networks, CATV systems, and FTTx applications, reduci

ng installation costs with their self supporting design.

Bending radius: 10× cable diameter (static), 20× (dynamic).  

Low attenuation: ≤0.36 dB/km @1310nm, ≤0.22 dB/km @1550nm for G.652 fibers.
